Videos

Here you’ll find videos I’ve made over the last several years. I get most of backing tracks from Elevated Jams, Now You Shred, Lawrence Fritts (who is he?), searching YouTube and most recently I am using Moises to Jam against actual tracks from artist. I also post jams to backing tracks from Texas Blues Alley (TBA). Great place for lessons.

Now You Shred Backing Tracks

I just started a lesson from Texas Blues Alley (TBA) called Clapton’s Influence – Have You Ever. I am just learning lesson 1 and the first few riffs. I still don’t have them down or memorized yet. A day after I started the lesson Anthony from TBA announced a jam session for it and requested submissions. While I just started the lesson he told me to just submit a jam to the backing track. Well unfortunately I got too busy and missed the submission deadline. So here is what I would have submitted. Nothing like what Anthony is teaching. I hope you enjoy it anyway.

I highly recommend signing up for backing tracks from Now You Shred. Renzo Staiano is a great guy and fantastic musician. I first came across him when I found a nice backing track on YouTube. Renzo puts together really nice packages of backing tracks. Usually they include a complete mix (sometimes in multiple keys) but also provides all the individual tracks along with a some pdfs of the chord progression and scales that can used. It’s a great way to learn and practice. Check out Renzo on bandcamp and YouTube via Now You Shred. Also check out his web site, http://staianomusic.com/ to learn more about him. You can reach Renzo by emailing him at [email protected] if you have special request or needs.
